Your law firm's website is one of your ultimate tools to show potential clients who you are and gather leads. Here are some website design and management tips from Adrian Aguilera of LexBlog to help you make the best impression on your website.
Think about what is important to your clients.
When designing or updating your law firm's website, think about what is most important to your potential clients. The people looking to hire you want to know how you can help them so keep your content focused on why you are the best fit and show them that expertise by providing blogs, videos, etc. on topics they want to know about. Aguilera states, "For instance, if your firm specializes in personal injury, you could publish a blog post highlighting the first three things you should do when sustaining an injury after a dog bite."
Test your website on different devices.
You want your website to run smoothly no matter what type of device visitors are using to view it. Test your website on desktop, mobile, and tablet to make sure it looks and performs great on all devices.
Aguilera suggests staying on top of website technical management to make sure you do not have broken links, missing images, or performance glitches that could make visitors leave your website out of frustration.
Keep an eye on site speed.
Monitor the speed of your website monthly. You can check your site speed with tools like Google Analytics. Aguilera says, "Consider hiring an expert who can monitor and easily fix any issues that affect your website’s speed, so it runs at peak performance at all times."
